About the Program: The Inter-American Economic Council, the World Trade Center Denver and the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver cordially invite you to attend the Latin American Business Forum at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. The half-day forum will feature advisors to the Obama campaign, U.S. policy experts, business leaders and the Latin American diplomatic community. You will hear from top representatives about th outlook and direction of business and investment opportunities in their respective countries. Each panel will center on key topics including energy, immigration, investment, and strengthening relationships. Confirmed participants (as of Aug. 12) are the Ambassadors of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Uruguay and Venezuela.

About the Event: China maintains an established system of ethics, morals, hierarchy and behavior - setting the rules for personal and business dealings, and
establishing each person's place in society. An understanding of these traditions is essential for successful and respectful business transactions with your Chinese partners, clients and colleagues. We invite you to join us for a Chinese Protocol Dinner that will provide a “hands on”approach to Chinese business etiquette. Instruction will be paired with a formal dinner that will provide participants with necessary skills for proper business dinner etiquette.
